My first effort was a 4 song LP.
It is no longer available for sale, but click here to
listen or download MP3's of 3 songs from that CD.
It is self-titled "Socie" and the songs were written about my grandparents.
The cd was nominated for three 2003 Native American
Music Awards including Best Female Artist, Best Folk/Country Recording and Best
Producer. The LP won for Best Producer. My favorite song on that CD was
co-produced by me and my very talented guitar teacher his name is Tracy
Kimbrell of Phoenix AZ. He created all the arrangements and recorded all the guitar parts for
the song. I think the only thing we were missing were some percussions, but it
was still a beautiful effort.
